We have been coming to these charmingly renovated apartments for many years now! It’s always the highlight of our summer. This is a perfect spot for anyone looking to go to the springs in style.

It was great all together. Really clean and it had everything you would need in a trip. The location couldn’t be better, walking distance to downtown area where all the restaurants are. The hosts were very nice and attentive. I would recommend it 100% and will be booking it again when I’m in the area

Studio Blu made us feel secure as soon as we checked in. The extra interior lock for the exterior door was a score. There is a door that is seemingly shared with the main house. This was not an issue for us, however, we often could hear conversations from the main house guests. Other than that, the space is entirely yours and is not shared with the main house. The apartment is just outside of the hustle of the main attractions. The bikes were well kept and a major plus. Everything is within biking distance. We biked to the beach and various stores. The laundromat down the street is great and walking distance. The wash and fold service is advertised as opening at 0730 but it’s a one woman show and she did not show until after 8. We went home with basically no laundry to do. She washed, dried, and folded everything very neatly for us. And the espresso… SO good. If you are looking for an affordable, as advertised, safe space to stay in key west… studio blu is the place.

Shawn's place is amazing! Even better than the pictures. We had everything we needed or wanted. We loved the coffee/tea station and the full and fully furnished kitchen. All the little extra touches made it feel like home! One of my favorite Airbnb stays.

The cottage was simply amazing and our host was very responsive to my messages, we had the most peaceful and relaxing time for our anniversary getaway with our dog. We are already looking to book again.

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at The Poe! It’s a beautiful little studio with everything you might need to enjoy a short vacation by the springs. The place was super clean, the bed super comfortable, and there was plenty of space in the walk in closet to store our stuff. Shawn was very responsive and attentive during our stay, providing us with beach chairs and towels upon request. The location of the property is perfect! We visited Ginnie Springs and Gilchrist Springs during our stay and both were less than 15 mins away. We recommend Bev’s Burger Cafe for a home cooked breakfast and lunch and El Patio for dinner if you are into Mexican cuisine (It is walking distance from the property). Whenever we visit the springs again we will definitely be coming back to The Poe!

The fit, finish and comfort of this property is second to none! As a Superhost myself, this is best done AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. The location is great as well…easy to get to with ample parking and a short walk to downtown. You won’t be disappointed!

Shawn’s place was great for our visit to High Springs. Restaurants and downtown were within walking distance. Gilchrist Blue Spring was a short drive away. The place was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and AC was quiet and cold. Would stay here again.

Honestly I understand the reviews. I was planning this trip on my own but was super nervous. The guide and communication from Shawn helped me through it! Now I get why people were sad to stay for a short time. I stayed for 3 night and still felt too short. Made the best choice to stay here, it was magical! Recommendations were 100% amazing and friendly town, can’t wait to come back. Will be staying here again

We really enjoyed staying at Shawn's place in Key West. It's conveniently close from the beach as well as the center of this small island. The place in itself is compact: relatively small but everything you need is there and is of good quality (bathroom, bed, well equiped kitchen). The possibility to ride bikes and take beach chairs makes the Key West experience perfect. On top of that, Shawn is very proactive to respond and to overall make this stay a five star experience. Highly recommend Shawn's place!
