LOVED THIS PLACE! Shawn’s Poe house is absolutely adorable! Even though it is a studio, it feels just like home– – maybe even a little better because there’s no clutter from everyday living lol. They have thought of everything—from room darkening blinds, a super comfy bed with plenty of pillows, great lighting, a large well stocked kitchen and super thick towels in the bathroom. It’s on a side road so it’s very quiet and High Springs is an adorable little town. We walked to a fantastic restaurant called the Great Outdoors for dinner, and the next morning had breakfast at the BlueStar Grill. Then the drive to Ginnie Springs the next morning was only about 20 minutes so this location was just absolutely perfect! We enjoyed our stay here so much that we are already planning on returning with friends since apparently Sean has more units available in High Springs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone🥰

Shawn was an amazing host!! Despite the air conditioner breaking the night we were to arrive, he quickly dealt with the issue- bringing in a portable aircon (which worked great) and maintenance fixed the main aircon that next morning. The Poe is the perfect size and has everything you need for a visit to High Springs!

High quality, cute and cozy interior. It's very easy to feel comfortable here. Shawn was very helpful and friendly throughout the stay when I needed something. The matress is rather soft. Many little details add to the already perfect stay - thick bath towels, well-chosen soft cotton kitchen towels and solid wood shelves, to name a few.

Shawn’s property was cozy, comfortable, and full of character. The recent renovations featured high-quality materials, and the space was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully curated with great attention to detail. Check-in was seamless, and the host’s communication was clear, timely, and thorough. I will absolutely be saving this listing and returning for my next road trip!

This was an absolutely amazing AirBnB, and a perfect location for calling homebase and exploring Key West! like many have mentioned previously, the rental comes with loaner bicycles, which are so clutch in the Key West heat and the bicycles make it very easy and relaxing for exploring the island in a leisurly fashion! Shawn is an extremely active host and a strong communicator. He was on it with the response times, and always readily available. If this Airbnb is an available option, my recommendation would be to pounce on it. We'd definitely stay here again!

Shawn is definitely a super host! The house is very comfortable and clean. It is a historic calm that is close to everything. The backyard is an oasis for entertaining.

We have been coming to these charmingly renovated apartments for many years now! It’s always the highlight of our summer. This is a perfect spot for anyone looking to go to the springs in style.

It was great all together. Really clean and it had everything you would need in a trip. The location couldn’t be better, walking distance to downtown area where all the restaurants are. The hosts were very nice and attentive. I would recommend it 100% and will be booking it again when I’m in the area

Studio Blu made us feel secure as soon as we checked in. The extra interior lock for the exterior door was a score. There is a door that is seemingly shared with the main house. This was not an issue for us, however, we often could hear conversations from the main house guests. Other than that, the space is entirely yours and is not shared with the main house. The apartment is just outside of the hustle of the main attractions. The bikes were well kept and a major plus. Everything is within biking distance. We biked to the beach and various stores. The laundromat down the street is great and walking distance. The wash and fold service is advertised as opening at 0730 but it’s a one woman show and she did not show until after 8. We went home with basically no laundry to do. She washed, dried, and folded everything very neatly for us. And the espresso… SO good. If you are looking for an affordable, as advertised, safe space to stay in key west… studio blu is the place.
